Earlier this week, Mrs. Kipe's Culinary Arts 2 classes were visited by Ray and Darlyss Kipe, who shared the culture and cuisine of Zambia, both of whom have lived in Zambia at different points in their lives. Following their presentation, the Kipes shared artifacts from Zambia and prepared a traditional Zambian meal that the students were able to enjoy!
Wonderful opening night on Friday at the WASHS student art show held at Gallery 50 in downtown Waynesboro, featuring music from Cloud 242!
The Emolument team of Joey, Megan, and Madison won 4 prizes at the statewide Governor's STEM Competition held at PaTTAN in Harrisburg earlier this month!
Their coding project, which provides a ranked numeral output for stocks based on 30 days of historical financial data, provides free and easy short term investing for anyone who would like to start their retirement journey. In an 18 week trial run, Emolument earned 6.4% growth, bettering the market by 2.4%.

Congratulations to the WAMS and WASHS Envirothon Teams who each took 1st place at the Franklin/Fulton County Envirothon! Judges also complimented our teams on their manners and respect to everyone! Both teams will travel to Mifflinburg in May for the state competition!
