The WASHS football team has another away game on Friday, October 11 versus Mechanicsburg.
A few notes from Mechanicsburg HS for any students/families planning to attend the game:
Game will be played at John H. Frederick Field - 1 Memorial Park Dr, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
-Stadium Gates open at 5:30 pm.
-Kick-off is 7:00 pm
-Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for students

October 11 is Mechanicsburg's homecoming, therefore the WASHS Marching Band & Guard will perform before the game at 6:30 pm.

-Game will be played at Mitchell Field (13 Grand Parkway North, Lewistown)
-Kick-Off is at 7:00 pm. WASHS Marching Band & Color Guard will perform before the game (6:40 pm) as tonight is Mifflin County's Homecoming.

-Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for students and seniors.

-Game will be played at Palmyra Middle School (50 West Cherry Street, Palmyra, PA)
-Stadium Gates open at 5:35 pm. Kick-off is 7:00 pm. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students/seniors
-Spectator Decorum (Directly from the Palmyra athletic director): "Proper dress is required. Face painting is acceptable if positive and appropriate. Noise makers such as cow bells, air horns, whistles, and vuvuzelas are prohibited."

We thank the WASHS Class of 2024 for their beautiful gift to the school, which is now completed and hung on the with floor! The class chose a mural in honor of long-time WASD substitute teacher, Mr. Charles Thomas. The mural was designed and completed by Mrs. Melanie Erb of our art department and features water lilies, for which Mr. Thomas was known internationally, and lyrcis to "Sweet Violets" which he would often sing when substituting.

WASHS PARKING PERMIT INFO FOR 2024-25:
Members of the Class of 2025 and Class of 2026 will receive an email from Dr. McCallum today at 4:00 pm with directions to apply for a parking permit. We will be implementing an online application process this year - no in-person appointments necessary!
