Hello Waynesboro families!
The Waynesboro Area School District is in the process of gathering information on families who will have a child eligible for Kindergarten in the 2023-2024 school year. Per WASD Board Policy No. 201, your child is eligible to start Kindergarten this coming school year if they reach 5 years of age before September 1, 2023.
If you have not completed our Kindergarten Pre-Registration Questionnaire to let us know of your intentions this fall, please take a few minutes to do so. The Kindergarten Pre-Registration Questionnaire can be found on our district website under the News Feed, or by clicking Welcome to WASDPA, Kindergarten Registration 2023-2024.
The Waynesboro Area School District is also excited to announce we will be hosting our 5th Annual Coming to Kindergarten Celebration on Wednesday, February 15, 2023! The event will be held from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at the Waynesboro Area Senior High School, in the cafeteria. Come with your child at your leisure during the 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm window to learn more about early learning, receive fun activities to get ready for school, see the enrollment team and learn more about the official kindergarten registration process that is held in March. During the visit your child will also get to meet their school mascot and enjoy a sweet treat at the end of their visit to celebrate turning 5!
We are excited to help your family embark on this next journey. If you have any questions, please reach out to the enrollment team at registration@wasdpa.org and someone will get back to you ASAP.

Mark your calendars for the WASHS 2023 All School Production!

Please support the Class of 2026!
If you are associated with a local business that would like to make donation towards a raffle basket, please email class advisors - Christel_Ruzicka@wasdpa.org or Sherry_Kelley@wasdpa.org

The Wrestling Team earned a victory over Big Spring last night in their annual "Pink Out" event. We thank those individuals and community groups who supported this annual fundraiser for the Cumberland Valley Breast Cancer Alliance. Through the Pink Out event, WASD Wresting has donated over $11,000 to CVBCA over the past two years!

Our student council advisors, Mrs. Bitner and Mrs. Behnke, along with officers Sierra, Brooke, and Riley had a great experience at the Student Council conference held at Boyertown High School over the weekend!
