Hello everyone! We are changing the date of our yard sale from Oct 14 to Oct 21 (8 AM to Noon) due to the possibility of rain on Oct 14. If you are interested in selling, lots are still available.

Come celebrate the kickoff for StoryWalk on Saturday, October 21st from 10 AM-12 PM at Main Street Park. The first 100 kids will receive a free book and activities packet. Hope to see you there!

We hope everyone has a great 4-day weekend! Students return on Tuesday. We will not have SV Shark Bytes when students are off on Fridays.

Summitview PTO needs adult volunteers for our annual Miles for Smiles walkathon. This fun day is scheduled for Monday, October 16th. You will help count laps for our students, encourage them to keep moving, and serve refreshments after they finish walking/running. Walkathon schedule: 2nd and 3rd grades: 9:30-10:30 4th and 5th grades: 12:30-1:30 Kindergarten and 1st grade: 1:45-2:45 All volunteers must have current clearances before the event. Tomorrow night at 6:30 we are having our first Parent Forum of the year. This is a time you can come and speak to Mr. Pappas about any concerns and you will also learn about what we have been doing at Summitview. We hope to see you there.

Ice Cream Day at SV will be on Thursday this week!!

We are having a YARD SALE on October 14 from 8 AM to 12 PM. If you are interested in renting a 10'x15' lot for $15 please call the office at 717-762-1191 x1801. Summitview students can sell for free, but they still need to register. The last day to rent a lot is 10/13/23.

It's Blue and Gold Day at SV!!

Good morning, SV families! This is just a reminder that today is blue and gold day.

We would like to thank Mr. Cusumano, eighth grade science teacher at the middle school, for bringing over his Agricultural Club to Summitview Farm. He was able to teach them some things about the chickens and demonstrated how to properly prune an apple tree.

In honor of the high school's homecoming football game, we will be wearing blue and gold at Summitview on Friday. Please encourage your child to show their team spirit by wearing blue and gold.

Our word of the week is enormous. Some of our students found enormous leaves on a recent field trip.

We would like to thank all of the families that attended this evening's event. We will be taking the names from our sign-in sheets and putting them into a random drawing for a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (32 GB) and an Otterbox case (Donated to us and valued at over $200).
