This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We would like to thank our teachers for their dedication to our students and for the work they do each day at Summitview. We would also like to thank our PTO for providing lunch today for our staff.

We would like to thank Mrs. Pam Ebersole for volunteering her time to help us in the main office during PSSA testing. Mrs. Ebersole was the welcoming face at Summitview for many years before she retired a couple of years ago. She is such a kind and giving person. We will always be thankful for Mrs. Ebersole.
Remember today is Green Day and we are doing the PSSA Math exam today (Grades 3-5).

We want to thank all of our volunteers and dedicated substitute teachers for all they do for us. We would not be able to get through the year without them, especially during field trip season. Yesterday, Mrs. Laura Shaffer and Mr. John Campbell came through big time and took an adventure with a first-grade class. The kids had a great time because of them and the parent volunteers who went with them. Thanks again to all who help us here at Summitview. You are truly living out our motto, Service with a Smile!!!

Beginning on Tuesday, we are having PSSA exams (Grades 3-5). Please remind your children to charge their Chromebooks overnight and to bring their chargers (and Chromebooks) to school each day. Thank you!
