Waynesboro Middle School Jazz Band and Boro Bravos recently participated in a festival called Music in the Parks. The Bravos won 1st place in division AA, The Jazz Band won 1st place in division AA and the Jazz Band won the Overall championship of all Middle School Jazz Bands in all divisions.
Each group performed two pieces that morning in front of judges and were evaluated. Then we spent the rest of the day at Hershey park. There was an awards ceremony at 5:30 (at the Hershey park old arena). All the groups received a rating of "Excellent" and both got 1st place in their division.
