Our second graders have been working on their annual community service project this week. They are making Christmas cards for the Elves of Hope. The cards will be put in care packages for local cancer patients.

We are having a coin drive this week to benefit a few local shelters. Also, we are encouraging our students to wear red tomorrow to bring awareness to homelessness.

We would like to thank the families and the VETERANS who attended our Veterans Day Program today. Mrs. Slick, Mr. Lego, and the SV students did a great job!
This is a reminder that today we are holding our Veterans Day program. We hope to see many students in their red, white, and blue! Our students in student council have lined our front walkway with flags and signs to honor our veterans.
We would like to thank all of our veterans for their service to our great country!

We recently installed an adaptive swing in our back playground. This swing is specifically designed for small children (elementary-aged). We respectfully ask that older children and adults please stay off of the new swing. Thank you!

Last weekend, some SV girls and faculty ran a 5k for Go Girls Go. They did a great job!

Tomorrow starts Red Ribbon Week. Please take a look at the attached picture that outlines our spirit week. Also, tomorrow evening at 6:30 we’re having a parent forum.
