Waynesboro Area School District

After four months of planning and development, coding and trading, analyzing and writing, and eight weeks of testing, The Emolument WASD  Student team of Madison Warren, Megan Miller, and Joey Jacobs completed both visual and written presentations to compete in the regional level of the 2023 Pennsylvania Governor's STEM Competition.  The group competed against 70 school districts from all over the commonwealth and were notified Friday that their project has been selected for the final state competition to be held on April 19th in Harrisburg. The completely student coded stock predicting program has been compared weekly to others existing programs, like Motley Fool, with the goal of providing a free and easy investment and retirement savings option for anyone who lives in Pennsylvania.
