WASD Virtual Options
Kindergarten to 8th Grade
The Waynesboro Area School District offers an online learning option for students in kindergarten through eighth grade through the Franklin Virtual Academy (FVA). This flexible program allows students to engage in high-quality, personalized education from home, while still being part of the Waynesboro Area School District. FVA provides a comprehensive curriculum that meets Pennsylvania state standards, with experienced teachers supporting students throughout their learning journey. This option is ideal for families looking for a more adaptable or remote learning environment while ensuring their children remain connected to district resources and extracurricular activities. Please contact Mr. Steve Pappas if you would like more information.
9th to 12th Grade
WASHS offers an online learning program for students in ninth through twelfth grades. This affords the flexibility for students to attend school in the building part-time and work online part-time, or to work full-time online. Our online program allows students to stay connected to WASHS, as they can continue to participate in extracurricular activities. If you would like more information about our program, please contact Mr. Steve Lane.
